BOARDING

Heading

· Manor Equestrian Center has three barns, each with comfortable tack-up stations and plenty air and light; we offer 74 large 13.5’x14’ stalls, most of them with rubber mats; a limited number also have open runs on a first come-first-serve-basis. Clients are assigned individual lockers to keep their tack and horse care supplies individually.

· We offer different feeding alternatives that match all horses needs; based on a good quality coastal hay or alfalfa, owners decide if they want their horse on a high or low protein diet. If needed, owners provide supplements that are fed by our grooms free of charge.

· Our turn-out paddocks are safe and large enough as to allow horses to be out individually or with other horses, depending on the owners preference. In the summer, we also offer night turn-out for those horses that need to stay out longer.

· Our computerized, automatic walker is a great training tool for competition horses fitness, it is also very helpful to take care of recovering injured horses or simply for exercising horses that, for one reason or another, can not be ridden on a particular day or for a longer period of time. This is the only item of our program that has a minimal additional cost.

· Our two lighted arenas, one with a sprinkler system and the other with a tractor watering system, have excellent footing providing additional safety for riders as well as horses. A nice set of fences (jumps) with modern and safe cups are used by our riders counting with simple or highly technical courses on a permanent basis.

· A covered wash rack with individual, lighted stalls located in the middle of our barns also add safety, comfort and convenience during day or night.

· For horses health emergencies, our barn is conveniently located within minutes of  a premier veterinary facility, giving owners peace of mind. In case of such an emergency, we provide service transporting your horse to and from the vet-clinic.

If you are looking for an economical arrangement, we also offer pasture board in our large and safe paddocks.

Heading

· Manor equestrian Center offers a complete lesson program with safety as a major concern; our experienced trainers are available seven days a week in convenient morning or evening hours to accommodate all schedule needs.

· We offer lessons for children from six years of age on; we dedicate the utmost attention to beginner riders in private lessons during the first stage of learning and until they can ride on their own and can control a horse in a safe way. The same goes for adult beginner riders who require attention on a one-on-one basis.

· For the more advanced riders, we offer private and semi-private lessons that vary in technical level, depending on the degree of experience of rider and horse and going from basic dressage and jumping to equitation medal classes to advanced competition hunter-jumper riding all the way up to grand-prix level. We have also helped eventing riders improve their dressage an stadium jumping abilities.

· Out of our lesson program, some of our young and adult riders have started solid and successful showing careers in local as well as “A” and “AA” rated shows nationwide, in hunter arenas, jumping competitions or at the national finals in equitation medal classes.

· Versatility and an elegant, effective style as well as a complete understanding of the horse is our teaching characteristic.
